A Selma woman was killed Wednesday night at her residence on Annie Cooper Avenue.

Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford confirmed that Mandy White, 70, was killed around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the 2700 Block of Annie Cooper Avenue.

“Some unknown subject or subjects knocked on the door of 70 year old Mandy White and when she responded, she was shot and killed,” Fulford said.

Fulford said the investigation remains under investigation by the Selma Police Department and “there are no suspects at this time.”

It’s the 11th murder in Selma this year.
