R.B. Steam Academy Special Education Educator Mariama DeRamus was awarded a $250 Music & Arts Grant by California Casualty.
California Casualty awards the grant to ensure music and arts programs remain viable in schools across America, according to R.B. Hudson Steam Academy.
DeRamus was presented the award by Dyphelia Thrash, Director or Elementary Education and Literacy; Dr. Chasity C. Green, Principal, and Danielle Wooten, Selma City Schools Board Member.
