The Valley Grande City Council approved two Resolutions at its council meeting on Monday.
The entire council was present: Mayor Wayne Labbe, council members Sara Day, Kay Davidson, Robbie Rose, Bruce Hughes and clerk/treasurer Kim Harris.
Ordiance 2022-148 Business License was unanimously approved to reduce the fees by 40 percent.
Labbe asked if the council wanted to put it on first read, but they went ahead and voted for the change.
The council also approved the invoice approval for Dave’s Market owner David Oliver. He sent the council proof of payment for invoices, $3,000, which they owed Oliver on repairs of Dave’s Market. Labbe said that more invoices will be coming in the near future for Oliver.
The next Valley Grande City Council meeting will be held October 17 at 6 p.m.
