The Selma Police Department is investigating a shooting on Thursday where a man was shot.

According to Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford, Lawrence Wilmer Jr. was grazed from a gunshot at the 1107 block of Griffin Avenue, the address near Bosco Nutrition Center. Fulford said that Wilmer, 30, was transported to the Emergency Room to get treated for the non-life threatening injury.

“We are questioning a person of interest at this time and I will release a name if an arrest is made,” Fulford said.
