Winning streaks end for Selma, Southside

Selma and Southside each had their long winning streaks snapped on Friday.
Alabama Christian 56, Southside 38: The Panthers (5-4, 3-3) saw their four-game winning streak end on the road.
Derick Smith scored four touchdowns, Roosevelt Towns III added two foe the Panthers, who will travel in a first-round game on Nov. 4.
Charles Henderson 37, Selma 22: The Saints (7-3) saw their six-winning streak snapped at Memorial Stadium.
Marcus Walton scored two touchdowns, DaKaari Nelson added one for the Saints, who will host a 5A playoff game on Nov. 4.
West Blocton 32, Dallas County 0: The Hornets (1-8, 1-7 Region 3, 4A) were shutout for the second straight week on the road.
East Central Home School 61, Meadowview Christian School 0: The Trojans (0-10) remained winless, dropping ,another 8-man football contest.
