Rex Patton Waldrop passed away November 29, 2022 at Kirkwood on the River in Birmingham, Alabama at the age 87.  He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Glen Waldrop.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Leith “Nita” Wal-drop; his children, Steven Rex (Tatyana) Waldrop, Alison Wal-drop Stewart, Thomas Keith (Debra) Waldrop; grandchil-dren, Christopher Matthew Waldrop, Joshua Allen Leith Stewart, Rex Patton Waldrop II, Mary Elizabeth Headly and Thomas Leith Waldrop and great-grandchildren, Makayla Chatman and Forest Headley. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Lee Tate officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
