He was born July 29, 1925 in Alabama, son of the late James Monroe Dunlap and the late Gertrude Maddox Dunlap.
He served in the United States Army during WWII, was a State Trooper and worked with Alabama Power for 8 years.
Surviving are his Daughters, Nancy D. Crowson, Wanda Milliny, Penny Hatfield Fry; Grandchildren, Lena Milling, Andrew Milling, Christian Milling, Allison Hatfield, Jay Hatfield, Christopher Godwin, Kurt Godwin.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Sara Nell Dunlap; Father, James Monroe Dunlap; Mother, Gertrude Maddox Dunlap.
Friends will be received Friday, December 23, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
