BREAKING NEWS: No deaths confirmed after Thursday tornado

Dallas County EMA Director Toya Crusoe said no deaths from Thursday’s tornado have been confirmed.
Crusoe said the Dallas County Jail was hit hard and added law enforcement, including the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Selma Police Department, Tyler Volunteer Fire Department, and Craig Volunteer Fire Department will assist with the cleanup from damage.
According to Crusoe, the Alabama Forestry Commission will assist with cleaning up trees.
Selma Fire Department Interim Chief Franklin Edwards said the firemen are assisting with roadways and hadn’t heard of deaths.
George’s Paint and Body Shop took a direct hit from the tornado, but the shop’s owner, Eric Haugen, saw a bright spot.
“I’m thankful we’re alive and no one got hurt,” Haugen said.‘’I don’t know where to start, but it could’ve been worse.”
