A Selma man was killed Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that Nicolas L. Johnson, 32, was fatally injured when the 2004 Lincoln Town Car that he drove left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned in a creek.
Johnson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred around 12:01 a.m. Monday on U.S. 80 near the 70-mile marker, about 10 miles west of Selma.
No further details about the accident are available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
