Valley Grande man killed in two-vehicle crash Friday night

A Valley Grande man was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that Robert W. Ingram, 56, was fatally injured when the 2000 Dodge Dakota he drove collided head-on with a 2020 GMC Terrain driven by Lynette B. Jackson, 53, of Jones.
Ingram was pronounced dead at the scene. Jackson was injured and transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center for treatment. The crash occurred on Dallas County 83 near Dallas County 84 around 8 p.m. Friday.
No further details are available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
