A Selma man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that Darius G. Jones, 31, was fatally injured when the 2016 Ford Fiesta that he drove struck a horse, left the roadway, and overturned.
Jones wasn’t using a seat belt at the time of the crash, got ejected, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Dallas County 48, about two miles east of Selma, in Dallas County.
No further details are available as Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
