Edgar Earl Parker passed away February 27, 2023 in Selma, Alabama at the age of 97. He was born April 20, 1925, to the late Edgar Phillip Parker and Lola Moseley Parker. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Seabees.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee “Dot” Parker and sister, Gladys P. Barker.

He is survived by his nephews, Lawrence Daniel (Carolyn) Edwards and Russell Earl Edwards; niece, Reba Edwards Wells and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11: a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Misty E. Barrett and Rev. Bill Goodwin officiating.
