A Selma man was murdered Wednesday, according to Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford.
Fulford said the victim was identified as Quintarius Perkins, 20, an African-American man.
“The Selma Police Department received a call in reference to shots being fired in the area of Division Street and Burgundy Avenue,” Fulford said. “Upon the arrival of SPD, officers observed a silver Chevrolet at the intersection and a male subject in the driver seat with what appeared to be gunshot wounds unresponsive.”
Fulford said that paramedics were called to the scene, but the victim was later pronounced dead by Dallas County Coroner Alan Dailey.
The SPD is asking if anyone has any information that you believe will bring the suspect involved in the crime to justice, call 334-874-2190.
