LIFT Ministries and Snow’s Cleaning Service co-hosted a Cleaning Service Relief Give-Away last Saturday at the Good Samaritan Center.

Inflatable mattresses, coats, jeans, shirts, toothpaste, blankets,, dog food and cat food were among the items given away.

The event’s sponsors were: Dr. Evelyn Crayton and the Montgomery Antioch District Association-Deacon Wives and Matron’s, John the Baptist M.B. Church, Rev. Curtis Williams,Pastor, Progressive Men’s Ministry, Rev. Dennis Bennett, Pastor, Princess Turner and Deborah Voltz. List of organizations to donate include: Coalition of Concerned Families, Auburn and UAB  and Wheels Karate Studio of Gulf Shores.

“It’s great to run a small business in Selma,” Snow said. “LaTangelia and I aren’t millionaires, but we always give back to the community.”

Latangelia Williams-Dozier of LIFT Ministries said she enjoys working with Snow. “People are seeing what we’re doing in the community and they donate to us,” Williams-Dozier said. “I’m glad to be working with LeMarkus Snow. It’s a blessing to make a difference in the community.”
