Prairie Grove, Arkansas kids assisted Selma during spring break

A group of girls from Prairie Grove, Arkansas spent their spring break this week assisting Gospel Tabernacle and Son Light Food Center.
Lily Yates, Aubree Wood, Kimber Hamilton, Havyn Huber, Addisyn Snyder, Payton Spatz, Autumn Spatz, Kylie Calvert and their supervisor, Rick Stewart, helped with a food giveaway and cleaning up the warehouse at the Son Light Center. While Yates is a fifth-grader, the other girls are high school students.
Wood, a sophomore, said it was her pleasure to help Selma recover from the tornado on January 12.“I feel really blessed to have an
have an opportunity to do this,” Wood said.
Spatz added: “It’s humbling and it feels good to help the unfortunate.”
Strickland said this is the 15th spring break he’s taken kids across the country to assist people. He added that the tornado provided a chance to help Selma residents.
“The kids set a good example for me,” Strickland said. “They’re great kids.”
Gospel Tabernacle Pastor John Grayson said he appreciated the help. “Their help was tremendous and it was great having them ,” Grayson said. “They were warm, friendly, and happy to serve.”
