A Selma man was charged with Capital Murder and Aggravated Child Abuse in the death of a two-old-child.

Chester White, 43, was arrested Monday

According to Selma Police Sgt. Beauty Benjamin, an unconscious toddler was taken to the hospital and eventually died from head trauma. Benjamin said that White is the boyfriend of the baby’s mother and remains in jail without bond at a disclosed location.
