Selma, Orrville, Valley Grande to host Firework shows during Fourth of July holiday

Dallas County will have fireworks in three different cities over the Fourth of July weekend.
The cities of Selma, Valley Grande and Orrville on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
Selma will have its Annual Star and Stripes Fourth of July Celebration on Sunday at the Historic Riverfront Park and Amphitheater.
Starting at 5 p.m., the village, food village and Splashpad opens, followed by Stars and Stripes pre-show with the House Rockers band at 6 p.m. A Soulful Explosion featuring Ashley Sankey and Company at 7 p.m. Jeremy Flyy and Flight Control will be part of the Red, White and boom finale at 8 .m.. The fireworks show will start after 8 p.m.
“We are on fire, we have a lot of entertainment for the city,” Perkins said.
Valley Grande’s Fireworks show will be held at 9 p.m. at Valley Grande Ballpark.
Councilwoman Sara Day, who’s in charge of special events at Valley Grande, anticipates a strong turnout
Orrville’s fireworks show will start at 8 p.m. at the Orrville Community Center.
Lula Watters, an Orrville resident, expects a strong turnout on Independence Day.
