Snow’s Cleaning Service gave away over 200 belts at a Back to School Belt Drive last Saturday morning at Selma High School.
Snow’s Cleaning Service owner LeMarkus A. Snow said 240 belts were given away during a drive-thru.
“It was a pleasure to be able to serve my community with 240 belts for our Youth Scholars,” Snow said. “Me speaking at Selma City Schools this year made me see the importance of belts. No sagging slogan in our youth.”
Snow thanked Erica Robinson General Manager of Acceptance Insurance, Selma City School Board and SCS Superintendent Dr. Zickeyous Byrd for their assistance.
“Erica Robinson joined with 50 book bags filled with snacks and school supplies,” Snow said. “It was a success. The smiles and joy from parents and kids was nothing but Godsend. Snows Cleaning Service also donated two 10 inch tablets to car number 1 and car number 50 . The kids was so thankful . We also want to thank Dr. Byrd and The Selma City School Board for giving us approval to have this event on school property. It takes a village.”
