Central Alabama Crime stoppers visit Valley Grande

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers spoke at the Valley Grande City Council meeting on Monday.
Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Captain Jonathan Cole attended alongside Central Alabama CrimeStoppers Executive Director Tony A. Garrett and Greg Wagner.
Garrett discussed the organization’s techniques, including the arrest process and the differences of cases. He said they represent 143 agencies in 30 different counties, including the DCSO.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers named Sergeant Keevin J. Lowe its Dallas County Sheriff’s Office CrimeStoppers Officer of the Year Award.
Garrett said that Central Alabama CrimeStoppers consists of retired law enforcement officers. Garrett was a Lt. for 21 years in the Montgomery Police Department, retiring in 2012. He launched Central Alabama Crime Stoppers in 1996.
Cole said that Central Alabama Crime Stoppers have a unique way to solve crimes.
