Two Greek sororities recently stepped up and delivered for local students.

The Selma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Zeta Eta Omega Chapter each contributed to Selma City Schools last week.

The Selma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. donated to the scholars of Edgewood Elementary School.

The AKAs held an event for girls grades second through 12 at the Ivy and Pearl Center.

We appreciate the Dallas County women of Delta Sigma Theta and Alpha Kappa Alpha for assisting our young scholars.

We strongly support educating the next generation of leaders.
