The Selma Quarterback Club announced its slate of guest speakers for the 2023 season last week and the lineup is strong as usual.

Anytime there are speakers like Alabama Football Radio announcer Eli Gold and Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne on the list, it’s a big deal.

It’s also big when Jeff Shearer, Auburn University director of strategic communications and Auburn men’s basketball coach, Steven Pearl are on the schedule as well.

Speakers in the past have included: Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl, ESPN’s Holly Rowe, Alyssa Lang and Lauren Sisler, along with former Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson.

We’re always impressed with the hard work that Selma QB Club Captain Bob Frazer puts in lining up guest speakers and organizing activities.

We can’t wait to attend the first Selma QB Club event on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at the George P. Evans Building.
