The International Paper’s Riverdale Mill is now accepting applications for International Paper Foundation grants. The deadline to complete an online application at www.ipgiving.com is Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 5 p.m.

“This program has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to schools and non-profit organizations in Selma and Dallas County over the years, and we’re excited to once again offer this important opportunity to those who work so hard to improve the lives of the citizens in this area,” IP communications manager Arthur McLean said.

According to McLean, applicants will complete an online eligibility quiz. Next, they will be asked to log in and register their organization. Registration is a one-time event, in which the International Paper Foundation determines if your organization’s tax status meets its guidelines. Applicants must have their federal tax ID number or, if your organization is a public school, your NCES District ID and School ID are available. You will not need an “invitation code” in order to apply. If you are asked for an invitation code, you should omit this field and continue with the application process.
