An Oktoberfest Celebration will be held Saturday at 905 Gallery.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with food, art, and live music.

Arts Revive and Blackbelt Benefit Group are partnering to sponsor Oktoberfest.

The BBG is bringing German beers from Marks Mart, bratwursts from the Gab and Grab Food Truck, and live music with Walter Roper Band.

“It will be another fun 1st Saturday in downtown Selma,” said former BBG officer Clay Carmichael.  “We love partnering with the Arts Revive crew.”

Jo Taylor, Pottery Studio Instructor at Arts Revive, said it’s the local businesses and artists that make Oktoberfest a great event.

“It is a joint collaboration between Arts Revive, Black Belt Benefit Group, the artists and businesses that participate in the first Saturday of Selma to promote the positive about our community,” Taylor said. “Music, visual arts and food make for an enjoyable family event.”
