AL-TOM RCD Grants Announced

The AI- Tom RCD awarded $90,000 to Dallas County organizations for the 2022-2023 grant cycle.
Marie Lowder, Executive Director of AL-Tom RCD introduced grantees who gave project reports at an Oct. 24 event at the Trustmark Bank.
Rep. Prince Chestnut, State Senator Robert Stewart and Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy attended the event.
“I am pleased to see RCD was able to fund a variety of projects and add to the quality of life in our community,” Chestnut said.
“The RCD program is very helpful to non-profits and without these funds they could not accomplish their mission,” Stewart said.
The following groups received grants: Five Points Community Food Bank, Old Cahawba Archaeological Park, The Innovation Center, Heritage Village, Farm Hoop House and Farm Coop, Selma Pal After School, Child Abuse Prevention, Dallas County Lake, Mobile Pantry Programs, Bridgetown Connect, and VIP Outdoor Garden Project
