Jerria Martin continues to take Drug-Free Communities of Dallas County (DFCDC) to another level.
Last week, the White House awarded another Blue Ribbon at the National Youth Substance Use Prevention Summit in Washington, D.C.
We applaud Martin for the tireless work she’s done battling drug abuse in Selma and Dallas County. She goes around to all of the schools, talking about how dangerous drugs are. She names participants Junior Hope Dealers.
Martin has a great working relationship with the Selma Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, City of Selma, and Dallas County Commission, which we appreciate.
The local businesses that DFCDC partners with are called Hope Dealers. The Selma Times-Journal is honored to be chosen as a Hope Dealer and grateful for being profiled on the DFCDC’s latest billboard.
We’re grateful to have Jerria Martin running the DFCDC.
