Morgan Academy will compete in the AISA All-Star Football Game on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 at the Cramton Bowl.
Milton Hand and Davis Fuller. will be playing their last football games for the West All-Stars.
Also slected were six cheerleaders: Allie Wilkinson, Anne Frances Pearce, Anne Hayes Utsey, Claire Johnson, Lelia Kelly, and Taylor Roberts.
Morgan Academy coach Danny Raines will be one of the coaches for the West All-Stars.
“I’m excitd for these kids to get experience AISA All-Star week,” Raines said. “Each one of the kids is very deserving. AISA Athletic Director Roddie Beck and his staff do an exceptional job. It is a first-class event. We are looking forward to it.”
At the 2002 All-Star game, eight Senators were picked: Fullback/Linebacker Allen Michael Creech, Quarterback T.B. Clements, Wide receiver/defensive back Rhyne Williams, Wide receiver Allen Lightfoot, defensive end Perrin Utsey, wide receiver/defensive back CJ Crocker, running back/linebacker John Allen Ingram and linebacker Jackson Griffin. Lucy Hopkins was selected as a cheerleader.
