A Selma woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dallas County on Feb. 24.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Sergeant Jeremy J. Burkett reports that Latrisa M. Vassell, 32, was fatally injured when the 2007 Honda Accord drove left the roadway and struck a tree. Burkett said Vassell was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred Feb. 24 at 11:24 p.m. on Dallas County 86, approximately eight miles east of Selma.
Burkett said no further details are available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
