Salem Elementary School celebrated Black History month by Honoring the Past, Present, and Future on March 13.

Scholars sang songs and chants, and read poems and speeches. Willow Lewis did a praise dance, third grade acted out a skit, fourth grade reenacted two important marches from the Civil Rights Era, and fifth grade presented a Live Wax Museum. Patricia Sanders from the Selma Senior Center guest speaker.
