Five Dallas County players will compete in the North-South All-Star Basketball Games this summer.
Keith’s Miles Hannah and Jakayla Moore, Selma High’s Jykierra Oliver and Jerry Blocton, and Joshua Davis of Dallas County High will compete during All-Star week on July 15-19.
Hannah, Davis, and Blocton will be playing for the South boy’s squad. Moore and Oliver will compete on the South girl’s team. Moore was selected for the Alabama Sports Writers Association all-state team.
The four 15-member teams of 2025 rising seniors were announced by Brandon Dean, director of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA) on March 17.
“This group is collectively one of the most experienced groups we have seen selected in quite some time,” Dean said.
The AHSADCA, which operates under the Alabama High School Athletic Association, will also host all-star games in baseball, softball, volleyball, boys’ and girls’ soccer, cross country, tennis and golf.
