Another year passes and the Selma’s Blaster Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation remains strong.
We were pleased that the 34th annual Super Fund and Hunting Heritage Banquet, held on March 15 at the Y Not Entertainment facility, had its usual strong support in the community.
Charles Duckett of the Selma Blaster Chapter. Duckett said he is always grateful for the countless sponsors and local support and so are well.
“Our sponsors support conservation and the local community,” Duckett said. “They are devoted people and we appreciate their support.”
Selma’s Blaster Chapter has earned the “Golden Gobbler Award” every year since its charter and is one of only three chapters in the nation to achieve Golden Gobbler status for over 30 consecutive years.
We salute the turkey banquet’s numerous sponsors: Air Pro, Alabama Ag Credit, Asberry Trucking, Blackbelt Outdoor Advertising, Bama Bud, Brian Sharpe, Bruce Dunbar, Bruce Hughes, Bug Hog, Carpet Plus, Central Alabama Farmers Co, Charles Duckett, Children’s Dentistry, Clear Water Solutions, Dallas Air Conditioning and Heating, Dana Hollis, Dave’s Market, First Cahawba Bank, Fuller Building Body Supply, George’s Paint and Body, Hancock’s, Henry Brick, Hog Heaven, Jamie Thomas, Jere Peak, JFK Construction, K&D Auto & Farm Supply-Carquest, Klimate Kontrol, Lee Calame, Klimate Kontrol, Meadows Tire, Nichols Processing, Northside Animal Hospital, Nutrien, Palletone, Peak Insurance, Pepsi, Phillip’s Roofing, Ralph Hobbs, Rayco, RMJ Hauling, Ronnie Yarbrough, Screenco, Selcom, Selma Family Care, Smith Enterprises, Southern Sportsman, Southern Industrial Supply, Tucker Family Dentistry, Genesis of Tuscaloosa and Landmark Collision Center, Tuscaloosa Hyundai and Bama Buggies, TW Orthodontics and UFPT-Prattville.
