Meet the All Dallas County girls basketball team

The Selma Times-Journal’s All-Dallas County girls basketball team is loaded with seniors and underclassmen.
The list was compiled after conversations and recommendations from head football coaches from the seven Dallas County schools
Keith was the only team to reach the state tournament.
The Lady Bears had two players, JaKayla Moore and Adasia Atkins.
Selma High, the Dallas County High School tournament champions, had a pair on the team: Jy’Kierra Oliver and Zariah McCall.
Southside had a pair of players, Shamya Allison and LaTerika Edwards.
Morgan Academy was presented by Sarah Moore, an All-State performer.
Ellwood Christian Academy is represented by Kweli Rose and Latavia Williams.
Making the squad for Dallas County High is Jaidyn Dixon

Allison made the Alabama Sportswriters Association All-state third team for two straight seasons. Allison was The Selma Times-Journal player of the year in 2023.
Jakayla Moore earned third-team 1A All-State honors. Sarah Moore made AISA Honorable mention for the Lady Senators.
