West Central Baptist Association has an outstanding reputation for excellence in community service throughout Dallas County.
Through the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) and Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA), their latest venture was hosting World Health Day on April 4 for the third straight year. The organization traveled across Dallas County and visited several areas, including Vaughan Regional Medical Center, various churches and nursing homes in the community.
Over 1,000 gift bags with assorted food and biblical scriptures were handed out. The bags were made by the WMU, ESA, and men and women from many churches in the community.
We applaud the leadership of WMU director of West Central Baptist Association Kathy Smith for directing the way along with members including Dena Grant, Debbie Moorer, Martha Holbrook, Peggy Veroff and Charmon Brown.
We’re always proud of the stellar work done by the West Central Baptist Association. We look forward to writing more about their charitable deeds in the months to come.
