High School graduation season in Dallas County officially ended Wednesday when Keith said farewell to the Class of 2024. Meadowview Christian School, Morgan Academy, Selma, Ellwood Christian Academy Southside and Dallas County each had graduation ceremonies over the last few days.
The Selma Times-Journal is always proud to cover each graduation ceremony and publish a special section honoring the seniors before they head off to the next stage of their lives.
We enjoyed writing stories about seniors at each of the seven schools. Some students had stellar athletic careers in football, baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball. Others built their legacy in the classroom, being named valedictorian or salutatorian. Giving it your all certainly paid off in the end and we’re proud of you.
We believe earning a high school degree is the first big step in a person’s life. Whether it is attending college, community college, trade school or finding a job, we’re always happy to see the kids move on to bigger and better things.
We look forward to seeing what the future holds for the Class of 2024.
