The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office made a second arrest in the Valley Grande murder on May 20 this week.

Selma resident Cameron Smith, 23, is charged with murder in the death of Genesis Barnett at the 3700 block of Hilandale Drive. Remarion Coleman, also a Selma resident, was arrested and charged with murder last month. 

The DCSO said investigators told them that arguments over property led to the deadly shooting. The DCSO also said the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests could be coming.
