The City of Selma hosted a welcome home parade for Asher HaVon, the Selma native who won the 25th season of NBC’s “The Voice.”

The parade featured the Selma High School band and cheerleaders along with various groups and organizations. The parade was led off by City of Selma and Dallas County public servants, including Mayor James Perkins and Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn.

The parade was a prelude to HaVon’s concert at the Selma Amphitheater Saturday night.
