Voting for the Best of Selma is underway, and we’d like to congratulate all of the finalists in the contest. 

We are so happy to see all of the people who have participated in this contest so far in the nomination process and also with the first few days of voting. We know people in Selma are proud when they win these awards, and it’s because of the people like you who support them in this contest.

We’re also hoping that this contest will also allow you to see a few businesses that you didn’t know were there or you haven’t thought about in a while. We hope that will encourage you to connect with them as well.

The people of Selma and Dallas County not only support them by voting, but we also encourage you to also support them as you are able. We know many of you already do this, but shop Selma and Dallas County first.

Look around and see if someone here can provide you with the services or goods that you need. If it makes sense to do business with them, then do it. If not, we understand, but please at least give a local business or professional a chance to do business first.
