John Neilson Furniss passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was born December 18, 1941, in Selma to the late Frances Beverley Hill Furniss and John Perkins Furniss. A graveside celebration of John’s life was held at Live Oak Cemetery on Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Amy George officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
