Former Selma Parks and Recreation Director remains International chair of Zeta Phi Beta

Former City of Selma parks and recreation director Dr. Denisha Hendricks will remain the international executive board chair of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Hendricks, also a former member of the Dallas County chapter of Zeta Phi Beta, was approved to serve a third consecutive year. She was re-elected with a 90% vote from over a 2,000 voting global delegation.

“I am truly excited and humbled by the overwhelming vote of confidence the sisterhood has placed in me by electing me to serve a second term as the international chair of the board of directors,” Hendricks said. “I appreciate the unwavering support of my family and my chapter,  Gamma Alpha Alpha Zeta better known as the Dallas County Zetas, the State of Alabama and the South Central Region of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. The best is truly yet to come.”

Hendricks is currently the athletic director at Johnson C. Smith University, located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
