Property deed restrictions and Community Center bid highlighted the Valley Grande City Council meeting on August 5.

The city council made restrictions on putting mobile homes onto properties, which Mayor Wayne Labbe said should be consistent. Former Valley Grande councilman Lamar Morgan suggested $5,000 permits would be effective.

The city council approved extending the bid for two weeks, but they would reserve the right to refuse bids. The community center is valued at $87,000. If no bids are accepted, the city council will put up re-bids.
