SCS to get delivery of school supplies
School supplies are en route to every classroom teacher in Selma City Schools (SCS)! The first deliveries have arrived, and additional shipments will continue to roll in over the next few weeks.
After-school program to begin September 9
The Selma Housing Authority announce that the Dallas County System of Services Inc. is launching an After-School STEM Program at the GWC Community Center! This is a fantastic opportunity for our young residents to dive into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) after school. Program begins September 9.
Mindset mission encourages Craig Elementary
Ned’s Mindset Mission was a success at Bruce K. Craig Elementary. The mindset lessons were very encouraging for students and faculty. Everyone really enjoyed it.
SHS CTE hosts college bootcamp.
Selma High School Saints’ CTE Department will sponsor four 90-minute College Application Boot Camp sessions. Beginning September 3, join them for virtual sessions designed to help students in grades 11 and 12 confidently and easily navigate the college application process. From crafting the perfect essay to understanding deadlines, they’ve got you covered. The dates of the classes are September 3, 5, 10 and 12.
