The high school football season got underway Friday night at Memorial Stadium in Selma.
The Saints football team defeated Park Crossing 30-20.
Selma will travel to Southside next week for the second game of the regular season.
Other teams that won last night included Dallas County, Morgan Academy and Keith. Southside won its jamboree with Carver-Montgomery on Thursday.
