Selma person dies in train crash

A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:50 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, has claimed the life of a Selma man.
Krystin L. Johnson, 20, was fatally injured when the 2005 Nissan Maxima he was driving was struck by a train. Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Dallas County 215, approximately five miles west of Selma, in Dallas County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
