Oxford woman dies in Friday crash in Dallas County

A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, has claimed the life of an Oxford woman.
Nina N. Mims, 27, was fatally injured when the 2009 Honda Pilot she was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. Mims was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 22 near the 36 mile marker, approximately 13 miles west of Selma, in Dallas County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
