As the Christmas holiday comes to a close this week, the community members in Minter are back at it again, bringing the city a New Year’s Parade to conclude the end of the year.
The city’s event will kick off on Saturday, Dec. 28 with the line-up happening at 1 p.m. and the parade starting at 2 p.m.
The entry for this year’s event is $5 for four-wheelers and ATVs and $10 for cars and trucks for those interested in being a part of the festive event, according to an online flyer by the event’s organizer Will Wells.
As for the entertainment portion of the event, booth rentals are $50 for those interested and as well for this year, the event will not have any food vendors.
Wells encourages the public to come out to the event on Saturday and have fun but said to leave weapons home because it’s a fun festive occasion for all in the community to come out to and enjoy.
