Butler said all associates working at the Selma Winn-Dixie location has received official notice in advance about the closure of the store, which will take effect in early March.

“To ensure smooth transition for our associates, SEG will continue working diligently with ALDI to provide support and opportunities to each associate at converting stores, including having the first opportunity to apply to roles at the newly converted ALDI stores or to remain with Winn-Dixie and transfer to another store,” Butler said.

She also added that they will continue to deliver an excellent shopping experience with minimal disruptions for their associates, customers and their communities.

With ALDI, once things are finalized and the store is ready, customers can expect a quick, easy shopping experience with great products at the lowest possible prices and with the design of ALDI, shelves will be stocked with only the items customers need so they can get in and out.

ALDI also has award-winning exclusive brands that help shoppers save up to 40 percent on their groceries without the sacrifice of quality.

“We thank our customers for their years of loyalty at this location and look forward to seeing them soon as a new ALDI located in Selma,” ALDI corporate said.
