VALLEY GRANDE — A second arrest was made Friday in a case involving an alleged rape in the Valley Grande area.

According to reports from the Dallas County Sheriffs Department, Anthony Hatch, 19, was taken into custody Friday around 2:05 p.m., charged with incest and first-degree rape.

District Attorney Michael Jackson said Anthony is the brother of Zachary Hatch, 16, who was taken into custody last week and charged with first-degree rape. Both brothers were listed as having the same Valley Grande address.

”From the beginning, authorities had believed they would make arrest in this case,” Jackson said Monday.

Jackson said Zachary Hatch is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 4. It is not yet known when Anthony Hatch will make his first court appearance.

Zachary Hatch was released on $10,000 bond after his arrest, while Anthony Hatch was released on $40,000 bond.
