Chris Littleton is not your average basketball coach.

Before volunteering at Verbena High School, he served as a plant manager and spent some time in the real world. Then he went back to college.

At 6’8" tall, Littleton plans to make his Lady Hornets fundamentally sound and proficient.

Littleton plans for his real-world knowledge to be beneficial for this year’s Lady Hornets.

Dallas County Principal Susan Jones is pleased with the new coaching hire.

Littleton has yet to meet with the girls on the Lady Hornets team, but plans to do so. With the AHSAA’s participation rule, Dallas County still has seven days that they can use as team-camp days.
