Hitting a hole in one on a
golf course is a rare feat that is only accomplished by the lucky few duffers and professionals. Hitting a hole in one with witnesses is an even greater accomplishment.
Karl "Doc" Smith did just that this past weekend during fourth annual First Church of the Nazarene golf classic held at Craig Golf Course.
Smith’s ace, serves as an example of how zoned in his team comprised of Douglas Coats, James Harrison and Lester Scott were.
The foursome, which had never played together as a team until they teed off that morning, won the tournament with an 18-hole tally of 57, a full 15-strokes under par.
