Faya Rose Toure has resigned as the volunteer president of the National Voting Rights Museum.
The museum site on Water Avenue suffered tremendous damage, which made it uninhabitable.
Under Toure’s leadership the museum has a new site and a grant that will allow it to continue to grow under new leadership, she said.
