The Dallas/Wilcox BAMA Club will have its annual Spring Evening on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Carl Morgan Convention Center in Selma beginning at 6:00p.m.

The guest speaker will be Sparky Woods, Alabama Football Running Backs Coach.

There will be a silent auction to raise money for the scholarship funds that we award each year. We presently have three scholarship funds ongoing and will be announcing the scholarship grants for incoming "BAMA" students. Costs: For Members: $20 single, $30 couple For Non-Members: $35 single, $45 couple. The event is

Catfish Rodeo set for June 4

Children from Lowndes and the surrounding counties will have the opporunty to participate in the 11th Annual Free Kids Catfish Rodeo held at the Lowndes County Wildlife Management Area. The event is open to children aged 15 and under. They must be accompanied by an adult. Free Boys Basketball Camp

Greensboro East High School will play host to free boys basketball camp on June1-3.

The three day-long camp, will cover fundamentals of basketball such as rebounding, dribbling, blocking and shooting.
